Ingredients

  • 8 oz Lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained well)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp Hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Scallions (thinly sliced, green parts only)
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded, for topping)
  • 0.25 tsp Paprika (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and well-mixed.

Step 3

Fold in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce (if using). Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Gently fold in the lump crab meat and scallions, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Step 5

Transfer the crab mixture to a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Step 6

Top the mixture with shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it evenly across the surface.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Optionally, sprinkle with paprika for a pop of color.

Step 9

Serve warm with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.
