Ingredients

  • 2 cups Strawberries
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 1 cup Raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 leaves Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and dry the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Hull the strawberries and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Add the granulated sugar and lemon juice, then gently toss to coat the berries evenly.

Step 3

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the berries macerate at room temperature for 15–20 minutes. This will allow the sugar to dissolve and draw out the natural juices from the berries.

Step 4

While the berries are macerating, prepare the whipped cream. In a chilled mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

Step 5

Using a hand mixer or whisk, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip, as the cream can turn grainy.

Step 6

Once the berries are ready, divide them evenly into serving bowls or glasses, spooning some of the released juices over the top.

Step 7

Dollop or pipe the freshly whipped cream onto the berries, creating an elegant presentation.

Step 8

Garnish each serving with a fresh mint leaf, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
