  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 5 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 liters water

Directions

Step 1

Bring 3 liters of water to a boil in a large pot over high heat. Once boiling, add 1 teaspoon of salt.

Step 2

Add the macaroni pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Step 3

While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
