Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Macaroni pasta, uncooked
  • 15 ounces Canned diced tomatoes
  • 15 ounces Canned tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease and transfer the beef to the crock pot.

Step 2

In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute. Transfer the onion and garlic mixture to the crock pot.

Add the uncooked macaroni pasta, canned diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, dried basil, salt, and black pepper to the crock pot. Stir everything together until evenly combined.
