Ingredients

  • 1 piece 9-inch pie crust
  • 1.5 cups Macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.75 cups Light corn syrup
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups Brown sugar, packed
  • 3 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Whipped cream

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Roll out your pie crust and gently press it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim and crimp the edges as desired, then set aside.

Step 3

Spread the chopped macadamia nuts evenly across the bottom of the prepared pie crust.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, light corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and fully combined.

Step 5

Pour the filling mixture evenly over the macadamia nuts in the pie crust.

Step 6

Place the pie on the center rack of the preheated oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown. The center should not jiggle excessively when lightly shaken.

Step 7

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool to room temperature on a wire rack. This allows the filling to fully set.

Step 8

Serve the pie at room temperature or chilled, topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
