Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Large button mushrooms
  • 120 grams Cream cheese (softened)
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme (leaves only)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 30 grams Breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel and gently remove the stems, setting the caps aside. Finely chop the stems.

Step 3

In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushroom stems and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, sautéed mushroom stems, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
