Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin membrane on the underside of the ribs. Pat them dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this spice mixture evenly over the ribs on both sides.
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet, meat side up. Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
While the ribs are cooking, make the pineapple BBQ glaze. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, honey, grated ginger, and Sriracha sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Slowly whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
After the ribs have baked, carefully remove them from the oven and discard the foil. Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat.
Brush the ribs generously with the pineapple BBQ glaze, then grill or broil them for 5-7 minutes, flipping once and brushing with more glaze, until the glaze has caramelized and the ribs are sticky and slightly charred.
Remove the ribs from the grill or broiler and let them rest for 5 minutes. Slice into individual ribs.
Serve the ribs on a platter, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
