Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 4 slices Low sodium cheddar cheese
  • 4 large Croissants

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and dried sage. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Step 2

Shape the turkey mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until completely cooked through and golden brown. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

Step 5

In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture. Allow the eggs to set slightly, then gently stir with a spatula, forming soft curds.

Step 6

Continue cooking the eggs, stirring gently, until just set and still slightly creamy. Remove from heat.

Step 7

Slice the croissants in half horizontally, and lightly toast them if desired.

Step 8

Assemble the croissants by placing a turkey sausage patty on the bottom half of each croissant, followed by a slice of low sodium cheddar cheese, and a portion of scrambled eggs.

Step 9

Place the top half of the croissant over the fillings and serve immediately.
