Ingredients

  • 1 medium head Green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 2 Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Remove the outer leaves and core of the cabbage, then slice the cabbage thinly.

Step 2

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Peel the ginger and grate it finely.

Step 4

Deseed the red bell pepper and slice it into thin strips.

Step 5

Chop the green onions into small pieces, including both white and green parts.

Step 6

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 7

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the oil. Stir constantly for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Step 8
