Ingredients

  • 250 g spaghetti or noodle of choice
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, low sodium or homemade version
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 0.25 teaspoon fresh black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to brown the garlic.

Step 3

Stir in the low sodium soy sauce, low sodium oyster sauce, and honey. Mix well to combine all the ingredients into a cohesive sauce.

Step 4

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss them gently until they are well coated with the sauce.

Step 5

Sprinkle fresh black pepper over the noodles for additional flavor and toss again.

Step 6

Serve the noodles warm, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
