Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Whole wheat tortilla
  • 4 slices Low-sodium turkey bacon
  • 1 large Roma tomato
  • 4 pieces Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 small Avocado
  • 2 tablespoons Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

Cook the low-sodium turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5 minutes per side. Once cooked, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess grease.

Step 2

While the bacon is cooking, dice the Roma tomato and set aside.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork. Add the plain Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and creamy; this will be your spread.

Step 4

Lay the whole wheat tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread half of the avocado mixture over each tortilla, covering the entire surface evenly.

Step 5

Place two romaine lettuce leaves on each tortilla.

Step 6

Crumble two slices of the cooked turkey bacon onto each tortilla over the lettuce.

Step 7

Distribute the diced tomatoes evenly over the bacon on each wrap.

Step 8

Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom to enclose the filling.

Step 9

Slice each wrap in half diagonally, if desired, and serve immediately or wrap tightly in foil or plastic wrap to enjoy later.
