Ingredients

  • 300 grams Ground pork
  • 150 grams Green cabbage
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 2 large Scallions
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 24 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Water

Directions

Step 1

Finely shred the green cabbage and carrot, and mince the scallions, ginger, and garlic.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, minced scallions, ginger, and garlic.

Step 3

Add sesame oil, low sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir until well combined.

Step 4

Place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry.

Step 6

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with the cornstarch slurry. Fold over and pleat the edges to seal the dumpling.
