Ingredients

  • 2 slices Low sodium whole grain bread
  • 2 ounces Low sodium mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices Low sodium turkey salami
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 small Tomato
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Slice the tomato into thin rounds.

Step 3

Lightly brush the whole grain bread slices with olive oil on both sides.

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until they start to turn golden brown.
