  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup Unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
  • 20 whole Cloves

Directions

Step 1

Begin by gathering all ingredients and preparing a non-stick saucepan.

Step 2

Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the saucepan.

Step 3

Add the unsalted butter and coconut milk to the condensed milk in the saucepan.

Step 4

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Step 5

Once the butter has melted, add 3/4 cup of the unsweetened shredded coconut to the mixture. Continue stirring.

Step 6

Cook the mixture for about 15-20 minutes, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it is safe to handle.

Using slightly damp hands, scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
