Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Granulated garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley, for garnish

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the beef cubes with low sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, granulated garlic, ground black pepper, and minced garlic. Mix well to evenly coat the beef. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef cubes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef achieves a nice brown sear. Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure even cooking. Cook in batches if necessary.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to medium, and add the remaining marinade, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the marinade is heated through and slightly reduced.

Step 5

Optionally, stir in the chili flakes and cook for another minute.

Step 6

Remove the beef from the skillet and transfer it to a serving plate.

Step 7

Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top as a garnish before serving. Enjoy your low sodium beef salpicao with steamed vegetables or a side salad.
