Ingredients

  • 14 oz Flat rice noodles
  • 10 oz Beef sirloin or flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons Low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dark sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Canola oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 Green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • 1 Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Slice the beef thinly against the grain. In a bowl, marinate it with 1 tablespoon of the low sodium soy sauce, cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon of water for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and dark sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
