  • 3 medium ripe bananas
  • 0.25 cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 0.5 cups chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Add the melted unsalted butter to the mashed bananas and mix until combined.
