  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.25 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.

Step 2

Clean the methi leaves thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt and chop them coarsely.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 4

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until they are fragrant.

Step 5

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic, sautéing for about a minute until lightly golden.

Step 6

Add the cubed potatoes to the pan and mix well.

Step 7

Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and black pepper over the potatoes. Stir to coat the potatoes evenly with the spices.
