Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 0 Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Begin by rinsing the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped dill, minced garlic, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well.

Step 3

Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil, then evenly spread the lemon herb mixture on top of each fillet.

Step 4

In another bowl, combine whole wheat breadcrumbs with any residual lemon herb mixture to create a crust topping.

Step 5

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the salmon fillets, pressing lightly to ensure it adheres.

Step 6

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.

Step 7

Lightly coat the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 8

Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching to allow even cooking.

Step 9

Air fry the salmon at 380°F (193°C) for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.

Step 10

Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
