Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey (lean, 93% or higher)
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce (no salt added)
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup (low sugar)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 Whole wheat hamburger buns

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
