  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
  • 20 grams (finely chopped) Fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil (for brushing pan)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, egg whites, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and fresh cilantro.

Add the ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Mix thoroughly using your hands or a spoon until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a flat patty, approximately 1.5 cm thick. Place the patties on a plate or tray and set aside.
