Ingredients

  • 250 grams All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 200 grams Non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 50 milliliters Water
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well using a whisk or fork to ensure the baking powder and salt are evenly distributed.

Step 2

Add the non-fat Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients. Using a spatula or your hands, mix until the dough begins to come together.

Step 3

Gradually add the water to the mixture, a little at a time, and continue kneading until you have a smooth, slightly sticky dough. You may not need all the water.

Step 4

On a lightly floured surface, turn out the dough and knead it for about 2-3 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.

Step 5

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and flatten slightly with your palm.

Step 6

Using a floured rolling pin, roll each piece of dough into a round, flat shape about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 7

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the surface of each flatbread lightly with olive oil.

Step 8

Cook each flatbread in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown spots appear and the flatbread puffs up slightly.

Step 9

Remove from the skillet and keep warm in a clean kitchen towel. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.

Step 10

Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite dips or use as a sandwich wrap.
