  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.25 cup low-fat pesto sauce
  • 2 pieces whole wheat sandwich thins
  • 0.5 cup reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large fresh tomato
  • 4 pieces fresh basil leaves
  • 1 as needed olive oil cooking spray
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Lightly spray a baking dish with olive oil cooking spray.

Step 3

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
