Ingredients

  • 200 grams Low-fat paneer
  • 500 grams Fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 units Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 unit Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Low-fat yogurt
  • 0 to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0 as needed Water

Directions

Step 1

Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly under running water. Blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then immediately transfer them to ice-cold water to retain the green color. Drain and blend to a smooth puree.

Step 2

Dice the low-fat paneer into cubes and set aside.

Step 3

Finely chop the onion, garlic cloves, ginger, and tomato. Slit the green chili lengthwise.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
