Ingredients

  • 8 oz Low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 3 medium Ripe tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic glaze

Directions

Step 1

Slice 8 oz of low-fat mozzarella cheese into 1/4 inch thick slices and set aside.

Step 2

Cut the 3 medium ripe tomatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Step 3

Wash and dry the fresh basil leaves. You will need about a bunch for layering and garnish.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.25 tsp of black pepper to create a dressing.
