  • 1 ball (approximately 12 inches in diameter) whole wheat pizza dough

  • 1 cup (shredded) reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 20 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 0.5 cup cooked and crumbled turkey sausage
  • 4 slices (chopped) lean canadian bacon
  • 0.5 cup (sliced) red bell pepper
  • 0.25 cup (sliced) red onion
  • 0.5 cup (sliced) mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and if using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the whole wheat pizza dough into a 12-inch round. If you're not using a pizza stone, place the dough on a greased pizza pan or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the low-sodium tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
