Ingredients

  • 500 grams Bottle gourd (Loki)
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 small Green chili
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro leaves
  • 1 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel the bottle gourd and cut it into small cubes.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion, tomato, green chili, and ginger.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Dry roast them until they begin to sizzle, then add chopped onions.

Sauté the onions until they become translucent, then add chopped ginger and green chili. Stir for another minute.
