Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine quinoa flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and baking powder.

Step 3

Slowly add the water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until you form a smooth, thick batter.

Step 4

Allow the batter to sit for 5 minutes to allow the flour to absorb the liquid slightly, which will help with spreading and baking.

Step 5

Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it evenly into a thin layer, approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Step 6

Make score marks on the batter with a sharp knife or pizza cutter to form small chip shapes. This will make it easier to break into individual pieces once baked.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the chips are crisp.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before breaking along the score lines.

Step 9

Once completely cooled, store the quinoa chips in an airtight container to keep them fresh and crispy.
