  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Grated orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
