  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the fusilli pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
