Ingredients

  • 4 pieces White fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Capers, drained

Directions

Step 1

Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5

Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, and butter to the skillet. Stir until the butter melts completely.

Step 6

Mix in the low-fat Greek yogurt, stirring continuously to keep the sauce smooth. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 7

Stir in the chopped dill and capers, then return the fish to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top of each fillet.

Step 8

Simmer the fish in the sauce for 2 minutes, allowing it to warm through.

Step 9

Serve immediately with a garnish of extra dill and lemon slices if desired.
