Ingredients

  • 400 grams Lean ground turkey
  • 1 large Egg white
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 pieces Whole grain burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 2 pieces Low-fat cheese slices
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Ketchup
  • 8 pieces Pickle slices
  • 1 as needed Cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground turkey, egg white, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form each into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat.

Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are thoroughly cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

While the patties are cooking, slice the large tomato into four thick slices and wash the lettuce leaves.
