Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 0.25 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup Natural almond butter
  • 0.25 cup Honey
  • 0.5 cup Non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 cup Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir well so that the cocoa evenly coats the oats.

Step 2

Add the natural almond butter and honey to the oats mixture. Mix thoroughly until the almond butter and honey are evenly distributed.

Step 3

Fold in the non-fat Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and salt. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well combined, forming a thick dough-like consistency.

Step 4

If you're using mini chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture until even distribution is achieved.

Step 5

Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter. You should get approximately 12 balls from the mixture.

Step 6

Place the chocolate balls on a plate or tray and refrigerate them for at least 1 hour before serving. This helps them firm up and enhances flavor.

Step 7

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
