  • 0.5 cup Coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 0.25 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Low-fat margarine (or light butter)
  • 0.25 cup Mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, oat flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate larger bowl, combine the coconut sugar, unsweetened applesauce, vanilla extract, water, and low-fat margarine. Mix until well combined and smooth.
