Ingredients

  • 4 links low-fat turkey sausages
  • 4 whole wheat sandwich rolls

  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Slice the red bell pepper and yellow onion into thin strips.

Add 2 teaspoons of olive oil to the skillet. Once hot, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are softened.
