Ingredients

  • 2 slices Whole grain bread
  • 2 slices Low fat ham
  • 2 large Egg whites
  • 1 slice Low fat cheese slice
  • 1 second spray Cooking spray
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 0.25 cups Baby spinach leaves
  • 2 slices Tomato slices

Directions

Step 1

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray.

Step 2

Pour the egg whites into the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper, and gently stir until cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, place the slices of low fat ham for about 1 minute per side to lightly warm them.

Step 4

Toast the whole grain bread slices to your desired level of crispness.

Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked egg whites on one slice of the toasted bread.
