  • 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
