Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Step 2

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
