Ingredients

  • 600 g Chicken breast
  • 150 g Low-fat plain yogurt
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 piece Red onion
  • 2 pieces Tomato
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat pita bread
  • 20 g Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine low-fat plain yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to create a marinade.

Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
