Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops
  • 0.75 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons non-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0 cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.

Step 2

In a shallow dish, combine whole wheat breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 3

Whisk together egg whites and non-fat milk in another shallow dish until well combined.

Step 4

Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Dip each pork chop into the egg white and milk mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.

Step 5

Coat the breaded pork chop in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the meat. Ensure each pork chop is well coated.

Step 6

Place the breaded pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops of the chops with cooking spray to aid in browning.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden brown.

Step 8

Allow the chops to rest for a few minutes before serving to redistribute the juices. Serve hot with your choice of side dish.
