Ingredients

  • 500 grams Lean pork loin
  • 300 grams Turkey breast
  • 2 links Chicken sausage
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 500 grams Sauerkraut
  • 300 grams Cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 leaves Bay leaves
  • 5 whole Allspice berries
  • 1 teaspoon Marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 500 milliliters Low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Dice the lean pork loin and turkey breast into bite-sized pieces. Slice the chicken sausage into rounds.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced pork and turkey, and cook until lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.

Step 3

Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the pot. Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Step 4

Rinse and drain the sauerkraut well, squeezing out excess liquid. Add the sauerkraut, shredded cabbage, and sliced carrots to the pot. Stir well to combine.

Step 5

Return the meat to the pot. Stir in the tomato paste, bay leaves, allspice berries, marjoram, caraway seeds, and black pepper.
