  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces Beyond Meat ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Low-fat shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10 discs Whole wheat empanada dough
  • 1 large Egg white
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
