Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean beef sirloin
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 0.25 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, fresh and grated
  • 2 cloves garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Slice the lean beef sirloin thinly across the grain and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch until smooth. Set the sauce aside.

Step 3

Blanch the broccoli florets by boiling them in water for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and just tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 4

Heat a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil to the pan.
