  • 500 g Lean ground turkey
  • 240 ml Low-sugar BBQ sauce
  • 200 g Frozen mixed vegetables (corn, peas, carrots)
  • 500 g Mashed sweet potato
  • 1 small (diced) Onion
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 60 g Low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

Add the lean ground turkey to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
