  • 1 medium Onion

  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoons Mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.25 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the onion and cilantro leaves.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until they become translucent.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and ground cumin to the pan. Stir the spices well with the onion.

Step 5

Add the diced potatoes and salt to the pan. Mix everything well to coat the potato with the spices.
