Ingredients

  • 20 pieces cherry peppers
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup bacon bits
  • 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Wash the cherry peppers thoroughly and slice off the tops. Carefully remove the seeds and membranes using a small spoon or a cherry corer to hollow them out.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is well blended.

Step 4

Using a small spoon or piping bag, stuff each cherry pepper with the cheese mixture, filling them to the top.

Step 5

Place the stuffed cherry peppers upright on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil lightly over all the peppers to help with roasting.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese filling is melted and bubbly.

Step 7

Allow the peppers to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
