Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Cooked ground beef (optional filling)
  • 0.5 cup Shredded cheddar cheese (optional filling)
  • 0.25 cup Spinach (optional filling, finely chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder (optional seasoning)
  • 1 serving Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon of water)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds until fully melted and combined.

Step 3

Add the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using) to the melted cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Add the egg to the dough and knead until smooth. If the dough becomes too sticky, lightly oil your hands or add a tiny bit more almond flour.

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a small circle about 4 inches in diameter.
