Ingredients

  • 200 grams Almond flour
  • 30 grams Coconut flour
  • 80 grams Erythritol (or preferred low-carb sweetener)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 120 milliliters Unsweetened almond milk
  • 70 grams Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 70 grams Butter (cold, for crumble topping)
  • 100 grams Almond flour (for crumble topping)
  • 50 grams Erythritol (for crumble topping)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Cinnamon (for crumble topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly with butter.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, baking powder, and salt for the cake layer.

Step 3

Add the eggs, unsweetened almond milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined into a smooth batter.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Step 5

To prepare the crumble topping, combine almond flour, erythritol, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the cold butter in small cubes and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until coarse crumbs form.

Step 6

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cake batter.

Step 7

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 8

Allow the Streuselkuchen to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it. Transfer to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing.

Step 9

Serve as is or with a dollop of sugar-free whipped cream. Enjoy!
