  • 8 leaves Butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium-sized Avocado
  • 0.25 cup Red onion
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest
  • 1 small Jalapeño (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Step 2

Place the flank steak in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
