Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground chicken
  • 30 g Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 large Lettuce leaves
  • 4 large Tomato slices
  • 8 thin Avocado slices
  • 4 slices Jalapeño slices (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 1-inch thick.

Step 3

Heat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 4

Cook the chicken patties for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F). Add the second tablespoon of olive oil if needed for cooking the remaining patties.

Step 5

While the patties are cooking, prepare the spicy mayo by mixing the mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl. Adjust the hot sauce quantity to your spice preference.

Step 6

To assemble the burgers, place a large lettuce leaf on a plate as the base. Add a cooked chicken patty on top of the lettuce.

Step 7

Layer the burger with 1 tomato slice, 2 avocado slices, and 1 jalapeño slice (if using). Spread a dollop of spicy mayo on top.

Step 8

Cover the assembled burger with another lettuce leaf to complete the bunless burger. Repeat the process for the remaining patties.

Step 9

Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb spicy chicken burgers!
